Meet Rosemary D’Amour

Rosemary (she/her) works at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and systems thinking to help partners understand and amplify the impact of their work. With a background in journalism, philanthropy, and public service, she brings 15+ years of experience across sectors and a strong belief in collaborative problem-solving. She began her career as a reporter and held roles at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Center for International Media Assistance before joining Impact Architects.

At IA, Rosemary leads projects focused on impact frameworks, narrative strategy, and team learning—especially in journalism, civic media, and democracy. She holds degrees from Boston University (Journalism) and American University (International Media), where her studies focused on the rapidly changing global media environment and its impact on access to and participation in civic life.

Rosemary is based in the Washington, D.C. area. Outside of work, she's an enthusiastic traveler, an avid theatergoer, a BU hockey fan, and a reliable source of movie quotes.
